Dr Hardus Strydom
Specialist Orthodontist and Clinical DirectorDr. Hardus Strydom qualified as a dentist (B.Ch.D., Summa Cum Laude) from the University of Stellenbosch in 2004, after completing his B.Sc. at the same university. Following community service in Bloemfontein and postgraduate diplomas in Endodontics and Interceptive Orthodontics, he relocated to the Netherlands, where a growing passion for orthodontics led him to a four-year full-time specialization at Radboud University in Nijmegen, one of Europe's leading orthodontic residencies, under Professor Anne Marie Kuijpers-Jagtman. He practised as an orthodontist in Europe and served as a clinical supervisor at Radboud University before returning to South Africa, where he founded Strydom Orthodontics.
Dr. Strydom is dedicated to providing modern, personalised orthodontic care that creates healthy, confident smiles for children, teens and adults. Combining specialist expertise with advanced techniques and digital technology, he designs tailored treatment plans with a patient-centred focus on long-term oral health. He believes orthodontic care should feel supportive, comfortable and collaborative from start to finish; improving not only smile aesthetics, but also bite function, oral health and lasting confidence.
