Removable braces

If only minor treatment is needed to straighten your teeth, then removable braces could be a suitable option. These braces are made up from wires and a plastic plate, and as their name suggests, can be removed for brushing, flossing and eating.

We provide the following types of removable braces:

• Functional Appliances: Functional appliances, also known as orthopaedic appliances, are braces used to stimulate jaw growth. They should be worn full-time to ensure treatment success and timing of treatment is of utmost importance.
• Removable Plates: These appliances are used for minor tooth movement or arch expansion. It uses wires and springs to push the teeth into position. The wires or springs are not fixed to the teeth, so the plate can be removed, unlike traditional braces.
